Patricia Bentham, artist, illustrator and teacher, has worked with a variety of clients on the west coast of Canada. Her illustration work has been geared to both adults and children and has appeared in magazines, advertising, posters, newspapers and websites.
Inspired early in life by her mother, who was a student of the Famous Artist's home study course which featured the works of Norman Rockwell, Ben Stahl and other famous illustrators of the time.
After two years of fine art studies at university, Patricia switched to a career in education. She received a Bachelor of Education degree specializing in Art Education from the University of Victoria and took as many studio art and design courses as possible during that time. As well as teaching for 20 years, she has completed both web and print design certification programs and is skilled in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, and other computer programs.
