Pen and ink is my favorite medium. I enjoy the spontaneity of it, the freshness of a black line on white paper, the process of sketching without being able to erase, and the sense of liveliness that occurs in an illustration by a touch of the pen.

I usually work without drawing with pencil first and enjoy creating numerous images of my subject, until I create one with mood and personality.
